Take the time to share it with with our young people, who may not be aware of its contents or the valor of those who struggled during those trying times. The struggle is not over and they will need the examples of doctor King and those of us who worked with him to hold themselves and the country accountable for the injustices that are still occuring.

Thank you Maegan. I find this very interesting indeed. Black History Month takes on a new meaning when people from around the world take the time to recognize and get involved. It's heartening to see that others can be inspired to appreciate the need for everyones story to be told.
I have never seen scroll painting before but I can understand how such an artist would comprehend the situation. It's a beautiful art form and I will make an effort to find out more about it.
