Ferguson? It's a long story.

Some people find it so hard to change.

Almost 100 years have passed since these riots and the lynching
attitude is still ingrained in some among us. It has to Stop!

Wondering what's really going on in Ferguson?? Me Too.

The real story of what's happening in Ferguson, MO needs to be told. The media doesn't seem to be fully up to the task, so it's going to be up to regular people to devise a way to get reliable news out to the rest of the world. With all the tools we have at our disposal this shouldn't be an impossible thing to do. At the same time we should be pushing the established media to improve on the service they've been delivering.

Let's do our best the make sure that the citizens of Ferguson stay on the radar and don't become victims of apathy. Let's keep our social media lines open and try to find the most accurate reporting that we can.

Joseph White, Father of Black Psychology

***The following is an excellent interview. Do find some time to give a listen.

"Joseph White's 1970 article "Toward a Black Psychology", published in Ebony Magazine, was a seminal document in the formation of African-American Psychology as a professional field and the rise of ethnic and cultural psychology. The article argued that whatever the future of race relations and the destiny of black people, the creation of a Black Psychology was necessary because the psychology created by white people could never adequately apply to African-Americans. Dr. White went further to point out that the application of mainstream white psychology to black people resulted in weakness-oriented deficit finding, rather than an accurate appraisal of the situation of people of African descent"
