Etta or Beyoncé?

I saw on Twitter where someone said "sorry Etta...Beyonce took this song to another level......" about ( I'd Rather Go Blind ) 
What do you think?

In my opinion Etta was there first and Beyoncé didn't really take it someplace all that far away, unless there is a version that I didn't hear, which is entirely possible.

The first time I saw Tiken Jah Fakoly was at an outdoor venue which was part of "Les Nuits D'Afrique de Montreal". I was thrilled. It was a warm summer night the music was tight and the crowd was responsive. I was just captivated with his excellent Raggae style and wry sense of political humor.
 If you haven't seen this guy perform don't miss him if you ever have a chance.
