Well I found this photo gallery and it took me 3 hours to tear myself away. Talk about a treasure, there are 1101 vintage photos in here at this time and it sure was fun trying to see them all. There are all kinds of pictures in this gallery, family shots, fashion, sports, entertainment, posters, military, agricultural, rural, urban and more. Since I’m not big on talking about these resources you’d better go look at them for yourself. Black History Month is right around the corner and I’m positive that you’ll find something useful in the bunch. Happy Looking. Don't forget to bookmark the site.

"Queens of Africa Dolls"
LAGOS— With a booming economy in Nigeria and more black children than anywhere else in the world, Taofick Okoya was dismayed some years ago when he couldn't find a black doll for his niece.

I am not at all surprised that Nigeria is the place of origin of the "Queens of Africa" dolls.

IMO Strolling is; creative, inspiring, refreshing and more but the only way for you to know this is to see it for yourself. I'm loving what I'm seeing and hoping for more. Props to the young people involved with this project. They touch on topics of concern to many young Black people not just those living in Britain or Europe but throughout the African diaspora. things like marginalization, gender conflicts, art, employment opportunities, health, colorism, immigration circumstances, African history, intercultural situations, relationships and hopefully much more to come. Congrats to ms. Emeke for a job well done. Now let's help her spread her message in any way we can.
