StoryCorps: Daniel "Hush" Carlisle & David Rudolph

StoryCorps: Daniel "Hush" Carlisle & David Rudolph: America’s largest oral history project is in Metro Detroit, now through August 11th. Story Corps’ mobile booth is located in front of the Carr Center in Detroit’s Harmonie Park/Paradise Valley district. They are seeking your true stories of life and love. Today’s story comes from Daniel Carlisle, best known by his stage name Hush. Over the past 20 years, he’s worked with local hip-hop notables such as Royce da 5'9", Slum Village and Eminem. Carlisle talks with his friend David Rudolph about how his mother, who recently passed away, was always proud of his work on stage and in Detroit.

StoryCorps: Detroit Jazz Legend Marcus Belgrave

StoryCorps gives every American the opportunity to tell their story about their own piece of America. The mobile recording studio is presently in Detroit. Look it up and get your story told.
